Did not meet my expectations
5.0Location was a fair way from town and the rooms were small.
− The lounge area was not accessible so you were confined to your room if you did not go out
Perfect cost benefit for a short stay in Kinsale!
8.0Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Easy check in and nice parking in front of the apartment. The price is good since its a very touristic city.
− Rooms are small, but for a short term stay shouldn’t be a problem.

6.0Locatie is o.k. Op loopafstand (20 min.) van het oude centrum van Kinsale. Parkeerplaats voor de deur. Hygiëne en bedden o.k. Vooraf een smsbericht ontvangen welke deur de ingang was en waar de sleutel lag. Die communicatie was o.k., maar niemand gezien. Beetje onpersoonlijk. Er lag een briefje in de hal met onze naam.
− Je moet vooraf onthouden dat je op nr. 50 moet zijn want er staat geen naambordje op het pand. De kamer is zeer krap. Het tafeltje met de thee-/koffiefaciliteiten, dus ook de waterkoker, staat IN de linnenkast. De linnenkast stond rechts van het bed waar normaal een nachttafeltje staat. M.a.w. aan rechts is geen nachttafeltje en geen nachtlampje. Dingen die je normaliter op een nachttafeltje legt moesten in de vensterbank worden gelegd. De vensterbank bevindt zich over de gehele breedte van het bed/aan het hoofdeinde van het bed. Tussen bed en wand weinig ruimte. Aan de andere kant van het bed staat een heel smal nachttafeltje en dat is ook de breedte die daar naast het bed beschikbaar is. De douche bevindt zich IN de badkuip. Dat is, als je mobiliteit beperkt is, een lastige in- en uitstap. Ik reis 3,5 week door Ierland op de motor. Andere accommodaties die veel goedkoper waren, waren veel conmfortabeler. In die zin was bij Summer Cottage bij mij sprake van een scheven prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.
Good location
8.0Great location on the edge of town. Easy walk in. Room good though stuffy overnight with no fan. Shower was only just adequate. For the price you pay to spend less than 24 hours due to very late check in that you’d have a decent availability of hot water.
− Shower limits due to type of water capacity meter. Could hear person in the next room coughing all night.
Good price, but there may be better options.
6.0Convenient parking.
− Very small room upstairs in a small renovated house. Effectively an air BNB without the breakfast. A fair way out of town. Very hot room due to weather. Never met the owner.

9.0Perfect stop-over for our needs. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, and it was well placed for a quick and easy walk into town. Although we didn't actually meet our host, Cara, she kept in touch via messages and was very friendly. I would definitely recommend Summer Cottage
