The view from the deck was stunning and it was the perfect place to sit and decompress from a busy day, and to wake up and have breakfast with the birds. I'd have happily spent my whole stay sitting on that deck! The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable, and the lounge, too.

− We had internet connectivity issues throughout the entire stay. Though the property advertised high speed unlimited Wifi with 3-4 streaming services, we only managed to get our phones connected once or twice and even the Smart TV only worked on two evenings of our four nights there. This was an issue since I was travelling with a 15 year old - no screens/Internet is pretty much his worst nightmare! It was difficult, with both Telstra and Optus providers among the group, to even get much mobile data to work. It would also have been helpful to have a dryer, as well as a washing machine (though, of course, not essential), and an air conditioning unit in the master bedroom since it got quite warm in the afternoons as the bedroom faced west, where the sun set. It seemed odd to have an air conditioner in only one bedroom and that bedroom not being the master bedroom. The stairs down from the private access road at the back were steep and a little slippery after rain, but the lights that were mentioned were not working. I would not recommend arriving after dark, although we did manage. I'd have marked this property as having met my expectations, if the Internet/Smart TV had been working consistently - that was the main issue that was disappointing, considering the price of holiday rentals on the Northern Beaches.

The location and the views are stunning, and the house has a calm, cosy vibe. You literally feel like you’re in thr canopy. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The private parking above the house is very convenient. Friendly, helpful host; good communication

− The wifi was very unreliable Some of the bathroom fixtures need a bit of TLC

Such a beautiful house surrounded by nature yet still in Sydney. Perfect for a quick getaway!

The house is surrounded by nature - beautiful trees and birds abound. The magnificent long verandah is stunning, overlooking Pittwater...perfect for lazy afternoon tea, sunset drinks and BBQ's. Fabulous house for a getaway, yet near restaurants and shops when needed. The host was extremely helpful. We will be back!
