− Don't waste your time and money. Awful place and terrible owner. -Foul smell in the bathroom -Weak toilet flush, had to do it multiple times -No windows as it's basement apartment, apart from a tiny high up one in the bedroom -Unclean, dust and hair found everywhere, Dirty cutlery put back into drawer. Stains on bedding, pillows and sofa. -They don't offer an extra 'bed'. It's a tiny fold up thing with no padding. Not sufficient for a night's sleep. -Poor heating. One tiny radiator in bedroom and one tiny one in the living room. -Main bedroom mattress very uncomfortable. I travelled with my parents and they complained of back pain. -No lift available, had to lug our belongings up and down the stairs. -Very dodgy area, constant fights and drug users right outside the door. -Projector is way too high. We couldn't watch anything as it was ridiculous and causes neck pain. -Sofas uncomfortable, very stiff and awkward position on the second sofa to be able to see the projector screen. (You have to have your own netflix account to use netflix on the projector) We wanted to leave once we got there and realised it smelt so bad and I didn't have a bed to sleep on. Was told either way if we left before staying or the morning after that it would only be partial refund. Now owner is saying because we stayed one night it is partial refund whereas if we didn't stay at all it would be full. Waste of time, money and energy. We booked time off of work, travelled all this way and packed our belongings for what we thought would be a nice break.
