9.0Beautiful large farmhouse set in the country. Immaculate. Great host where nothing is too much to ask and she is also an excellent cook using local fresh produce. Crazy to stop anywhere else

10.0I really enjoyed my stay here. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and there was a welcoming fire in the drawing room. Overtown manor is in a beautiful rural setting and very peaceful. Breakfast included homemade preserves and stewed fruit, along with a delicious cooked breakfast. Nancy is a wonderful host and I have rebooked.
I honestly don't remember staying at a nicer place
10.0Ahh Overtown Manor B&B... Now this is a place that I would love to stay again. I travel a lot for work, and this one sticks out in my memory as I catch up with three months of reviews. It was absolutely faultless. Nancy the proprietor is lovely and super-helpful. The house is beautiful, and for a price a little over most bog-standard hotels, this place is superlative. It has a swimming pool in the garden, and a bathing house to change in. It is amazing! The extensive gardens are beautiful and well-kept. The room I stayed in is spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and finished. The room size is three times bigger than you'll get in most hotels of similar price bracket. Oh and I nearly forgot to mention that Nancy and her B&B featured on Channel 4's "Four in a Bed" programme in late 2024. Sounds like Nancy was too nice to win it though. As someone who has paid to stay at Overtown Manor Bed and Breakfast, I can 100% vouch for its excellence. I hope I will stay again soon, if my ecology/wildlife survey work takes me to those parts. The location is close to the M4, which is very handy. It's so peaceful though.

The outdoor swimming pool is only available in summer.
Directions: From the M4 east, leave the M4 at junction 15 and take the 1st exit signed A346 to Marlborough. After just under a mile, take the turning on the right signed B4005 and Chiseldon located just before the petrol station. Continue on this road until you reach the next mini-roundabout with the 'Patriots Arms' pub on your left where you will take the 2nd exit staying on the B4005. At the next T-junction, turn right. Go 100 yards down the road and turn left signposted Overtown. Stay on that road until you come to a cross roads, Overtown Manor is straight in front of you to the left.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
