Great setting for an outdoors adventure. Lots of space & organised facilities.
8.0The great outdoors, all the other campers were very friendly & the facilities were kept clean. Strong warm showers was a good surprise. Shephards hut had all the cutlery, plates, washing up gear that really takes the edge off the packing & planning for a coutryside outdoor holiday. Lots of green field around the hut to spread out into, toilet block, showers and drinking water. The staff set up a fire-drum for us with logs, kindling, fire lighters etc which was ace.
− Can't be helped but don't expect a good phone signal here or Wi-Fi. Embrace it & leave civilisation behind.
Lovely converted horse box with comfy bed and well set up kitchen.

− Hut had been moved to a more shaded part of the site but it meant showers were a 5 min walk.
