Lovely place with nice management but needs new cleaning and maintenance crew

We really wanted to LOVE this place and I think it has SO MUCH potential but it’s not quite there YET. It’s a beautiful place with a great view in a great location. It’s appears to have modern and even over the top amenities, but unfortunately most of them didn’t work (see “what you didn’t like section of review”). The staff was mostly responsive and sent someone out to help with the most pressing issue - clean towels/linens.

− The property itself is lovely and I think the management is great, but they likely need a different cleaning & maintenance service. When we arrived, it appeared that house was cleaned in a hurry. There was trash sitting outside of the front door, the beds were mostly made but there were no clean pillow cases on any of the pillows, there were only 2-3 clean towels for 8 people, and 2 commercial sized laundry bags full of dirty towels and linens (which made me question if ours were in fact clean), food left in the fridge, and no hand soap until the maintenance person was sent to provide clean towels/linens. Initially I was going to wash the towels and sheets that were left there, but the washing machine would not drain and kept beeping an error at us. The bathroom sink didn’t drain. The WiFi never worked for us despite resetting the modem and router. Not a big deal except you are on an island with zero cell/roaming service. I had to keep running downstairs to the lovely little restaurant next door who let us use their wifi for free (they have access to their WiFi in their menu via QR code, but they are only open until 5:30pm so make sure you scan it before then) to communicate with management. There’s a small exercise room, which my husband utilized but he said the treadmill kept stopping and the weight machine didn’t work entirely. There’s a hot tub but it was roped off and dusty. The showers were nice and big… the one in the master bedroom had a screen that appeared to provide options of sorts, but it didn’t work. The master shower also only seemed to have really hot or even hotter water.
