9.0Door een behoorlijke vertraging door Brussels Airlines kwamen we 9u (😡) later aan dan gepland, in het holst van de nacht. Prima opgevangen door het hotel, waardoor we gelijk toch konden inchecken bij aankomst… Voorts: - prima advies voor uitstappen ter plekke - uitstekende locatie in Funchal en (lekkere) doorverwijs voor de beste lokale restaurants - geen moeite te veel voor eender welk advies - …

Great budget stay at the heart of Old City
8.0The staff, especially Carolina with whom we had the most contact with, was extremely friendl, profesional and accommodating. Carolina even prepared self check-in instructions in case we would have a delay and arrive at the property after the reception hours. On the last day, they were kind enough to stow our luggage until our flight back home. Even though the residence is located on a busy street and noise insulation isn't the best, it was not an issue getting to sleep.
− The furniture and overall decor is a bit outdated. The coating on nightstands and table was chipping away. Not a deal breaker as everything was functional, but it could do with a bit of freshening up.

8.0Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen einwöchigen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Besonders erwähnenswert sind die freundlichen und sehr hilfsbereiten Gastgeberinnen, die uns in jeder Situation mit Rat und Tat zur Seite standen. Täglich genossen wir den ansprechenden Frühstücksservice und die entspannte Atmosphäre des Hauses. Die Lage ist sehr zentral mit zahlreichen Bars und Restaurants vor der Haustür und der Zugang zum Meer ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.
