A good place to tour the south end of the Lake District. Good walking, although quite a bit of road
8.0Location. Peacefulness. Kitchen and living areas very good.
− We arrived on a chilly afternoon to a cold place. working out the heaters after a long drive wasn't easy. Please heat the place a bit for arrivals in future. The bed was not comfortable and the headboard was unattached and clunked on the wall.

9.0The information about the stay was sent well in advance with plenty of information and detail. The location is beautifully quiet. The wifi was excellent. The best bit for me was having access to walk the many paths and tracks around the Graythwaite Estate.

8.0Lovely little cottage, very clean, had everything you'd need. Nice quiet location. Use of swimming pool was great.
− On site shop wasn't open during our stay. Bath room could do with a refresh and the water from bath tap and shower was yellow but seemed fine, pipes potentially need checking. Bed was very soft.
