Beautiful villa and great location, but disappointing management and customer service detracted from an otherwise enjoya

The villa itself was absolutely fantastic. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and located in a great area. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the utensils and equipment we needed, making it easy to prepare meals. Overall, the property exceeded our expectations and we really enjoyed our stay.

− Unfortunately, the management of the property was disappointing. We were surprised to discover that bed linen and towels had to be purchased separately at an additional cost of €155. After arriving for our holiday, it was also frustrating to have to make all the beds ourselves. There was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms, which was difficult to understand. When travelling on holiday with limited luggage, basic essentials such as hand soap are something guests reasonably expect to be provided. The check-in process was frustrating as we were initially given the wrong address for key collection. After eventually finding the correct location, the office was closed for siesta, which delayed our arrival even further. As a result, we were only able to access the villa at around 6 pm, losing a significant part of our first day. On the second day, the drainage system became completely blocked and wastewater started coming back through the showers and toilets. We reported the issue immediately, but had to wait most of the day for someone to come and fix it. During that time, the villa smelled strongly of sewage, and we had to call again to follow up because there seemed to be little urgency in resolving the problem. Overall, the villa itself is excellent and we would happily stay there again. However, the management and guest service fell well below the standard we expected and significantly affected our overall experience.
