Great stay with a few areas for improvement

We had a pleasant stay overall, especially thanks to Judith, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions. The other hosts were also very helpful and provided us with plenty of useful information via WhatsApp before and during our stay. Their hospitality was truly appreciated. The apartment is in an excellent location, very close to public transport and within easy reach of Barcelona's main attractions. The rooftop terrace is beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of the property.

− There are a few things future guests should know. First of all, the apartment is located on the fourth floor, and this is not clearly stated in the listing. The staircase is very narrow, with uneven steps, making it quite difficult to carry luggage and potentially unsuitable for guests with mobility issues. The apartment itself did not fully match the photos. The pictures give the impression of a larger, more modern open space, while in reality the property shows signs of wear, such as cracks in the walls, and would benefit from some renovation. The downstairs air conditioning unfortunately did not work properly. It produced very little cool air and, whenever it was turned on, it activated a very noisy fan in the upstairs bedroom, making it impossible to sleep with it running. As a result, the lower floor became extremely hot, especially considering the apartment is on the top floor during Barcelona's summer temperatures. The upstairs air conditioning worked well, although the staircase leading to the bedroom is quite steep and narrow, and the attic space may be uncomfortable for very tall guests. We were also provided with only three medium-sized towels for our entire four-day stay. While they were sufficient, a few additional towels, especially smaller ones, would have been appreciated. Finally, the terrace is lovely, but during the day it is difficult to enjoy because there is very little shade. A couple of additional umbrellas would make a big difference, and the outdoor rugs could use a more thorough cleaning.

De locatie is perfect, dicht bij de Sagrada Familia en de wijk Gracia. Het dak terras is mooi groot.

− Voor boekers goed in de gaten houden dat het op de 4de verdieping is, 71 treden, geen lift.

− They should make clear that is a 4th floor without lift, lucky us we are young but you can definitely have problems with the stairs, the other bit is that you cannot call that a duplex cause it's not and the stairs for going to the bedroom are quite dangerous.

Great roof terrace and good location.

Fantastic private roof terrace made our stay much more enjoyable and the host’s were great, fast communication and very accommodating.
