A wonderful quintessential British hotel. Fabulous food, location and a wonderful staff team!
9.0Olde world charm. This is a hotel that will appeal to all those who like a British vibe. Staff were exceptional and went out of their way to help and oblige. The food for breakfast and dinner was superb. The garden for afternoon tea was sublime. It also was a delightful place to have evening cocktails! A brilliant location for so many things to do! We went to the Isle of Wight, The Motor Museum and visited the house while there ( worth it!). Our main reason for the visit was to cycle in the new forest and we had a BRILLIANT time! Miles and miles of traffic free, but also able to pop into gorgeous villages for sustenance. We had a WONDERFUL visit!
− The downstairs loo was out of order while we there. These things happen, but it was a mild inconvenience. Other than that the stay was perfect. Highly recommend!
