Compact, comfortable unit with reasonable kitchen facilities (a teatowel would be handy to dry dishes) and washing machine (very useful) and heating worked well. Easy key collection with locked box. Quick response to query re internet access.

− Unfortunately there has obviously been a water overflow/flood at sometime and the whole place smelt of mould and bad drains. The flooring has obvious water damage. The owners really need to sort the problem out, because trying to mask the smell with room air freshener doesn't work. Also the shower drain had not been cleaned just pulled out and left in base of shower - with a clump of hair and mould on it - not good. I have a photo which I will send to owner.

− The wifi didn’t work the whole time which meant the telly didn’t work either. Would have been ok for a short stay but not ideal for 3 nights. Host tried to resolve remotely without success.

The host was responsive. The place was very clean. It is in a very quiet residential area so we slept well.

− The sofa bed needs cleaning.

Basic no frills lacking soul and attention to detail. Travel Lodge may have been a better option.

Location good for access to St Anthony's hospital where my partner was having an operation. Self catering facilities adequate for1-2 people. Quiet. Good shower and newish bathroom.

− Apartment is a converted garage and felt like one - bit soulless! Host not particularly friendly or welcoming. Only contact from them was impersonal apart from asking me when I was vacating! TV a long way from 'sofa' and set up tricky.. Self catering facilitles basic - crockery and cutlery minimal.. Bed linen old and outdated needs upgrading. Felt like minimum effort with no real interest in guest experience. Sofabed stained. Decomposing pigeon wing in yard for entirety of stay!
