Lovely relaxing and comfortable stay
9.0The cottage was very comfortable and warm. Beds were comfortable and dressed beautifully
− The hot tub was lovely when we got there but as it is run by burning wood, it cooled down and needed more wood. We had to ring reception twice to get more wood as the fire had gone out. I think someone should come round and sort it out without having to ring reception each time.

− We specifically booked this property as it had a hot tub. Only one jet worked on the hot tub. When I complained at check out was told a new hot tub was being fitted at the property the next day. So disappointed I wasn’t told at booking or offered a discount. Also surprised that a property in this price bracket didn’t have a dishwasher.

Warm friendly caring considered stay absolutely beautiful cottage
10.0So I married my best friend on the 02/04/2024 and can I tell you this was the most incredible cottage to stay with family. Much better than booking one hotel room just beautiful. We received a welcome basket on arrival nespresso machine with pods and toiletries provided. The staff are glorious and can honestly say exceeded all my families humble expectation of where we were staying when I mentioned getting married in the North East
− The only thing I would say is that one of the gates have to be locked at a certain time so family who went to the pub were locked out essentially and had to find another gate
Excellent from start to finish, will definitely return for a longer stay!
