Relaxing, wholesome, countryside weekend

We spent 3 nights here for a girls reunion and it was the perfect spot for it. A gorgeous property, with loads of room for the 6 of us + one baby and one dog! Beautiful surrounding grounds with lots of lovely walks, very easy location from Stevenage train station. The hosts were super helpful throughout, we also arrived to a bottle of Prosecco chilling in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. The perfect place for a relaxing, countryside weekend.

It is a beautiful house, in a beautiful setting, which is very well equipped. We liked it so much that we extended our stay by a day. The tranquility really helped us to unwind after particularly stressful few weeks.

− The policy regarding dogs is quite restrictive. Although perhaps understandable given the quality of the property, this was not clear at the time of booking and had they not been prepared to be flexible to some extent, there would have been a problem given that the full fee had been taken and was non refundable. Happily, we reached a mutually agreeable solution eventually.
