Nice house to stay with family. dog friendly

The property was in nice quiet area, 5min drive to lidl, big garden, clean. Comfy beds Host always answered the phone and helpfull.

Just a wee sugestion to the host, which has no effect on overall rating. It was 7 of us staying in this property, and it was only 4 forks, so just to make sure that number of equipment is equal to the number of guests 🙂

Comfortable staying

9.0

We stayed there in 7 people (4 adults + 3 teenagers) for two nights, to visita some relatives. The house was clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and pillows. Living room, kitchen and one small bathroom on the ground floor, three bedrooms + one bathroom on the first floor. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. The three bedrooms were relatively small with basic furniture, which was anyways sufficient for our needs.

The second bathroom was very small. The stairs were steep for our standards, however in line with other houses in the area.

A beautiful place with plenty of choices!

9.0

This private house was equipped with almost everything and was well taken care of and clean on arrival. The hosts kindly left the most amount of tea and coffee that I have ever seen at any place that I have ever visited along with sweets/cake and various other goodies. It was a sweet touch on arrival. The utensils themselves were plenty. The place came equipped with a toaster, sandwich maker, coffee machine, kettle, air fryer, washing machine (no dryer,) iron, hairdryer, hoover, mop and probably other things we missed too but one thing which lacked and it was the one thing I needed was a rolling pin, but luckily we had bought one with us as we are aware this is not a standard utensil most places would consider keeping.) I hope they will purchase one for future guests though. The cleanliness was fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone!

- We were not made aware of the road traffic diversions on arrival, so we were scrambling to find the place on the day. - Lack of a rolling pin. - The washing machine is a washer only and has no drying facility. The only way to dry is to put your clothes on the rack in the bathroom. - The pre-provided shower gels/shampoos were fragranced/perfumed. There was no option for people with sensitive skin or allergies (however I made the host aware of this and they will sort this.) - The upstairs area (aside from the bathroom) didn't have any mirrors at all which is hard when you have washed your hair and need to dry it in front of a mirror or get changed/apply makeup after showering etc. So I would advise the hosts to consider purchasing. - The property is a house, so do not expect glorious views outside the front of the house, there is greenery/hedges etc as it is a residential street. - The parking spaces (I personally) would not have felt safe in at night time if I was alone as a lone female. Although this is probably because I was unaware there were two key-safes on site. I was only accessing the property through the front door which meant a stroll out in the darkness before I made it to the front door. I am not aware if the back door would have opened with the same front door key but don't let any of these points put you off. It is a beautiful property inside and the hosts really took great care to make sure it was immaculately presented for their guests.
