We had a great few days at the property and would recommend House on the Harbour.
8.0Property was very well appointed, beds were very comfortable and kitchen well equipped! Art work was very interesting.
− Couple of maintenance issues had been overlooked.
Expensive for the standard of accommodation
4.0Location is good by the harbour and for exploring. About 20 mins from St Andrews.. Very comfortable beds. Lots of space. Private parking.
− The place needed a good deep clean. Mould in one bathroom around the tap and in the shower. Sofas and carpets need a clean. Skirting boards were dusty. Overall a bit tired for the price (very expensive compared to other places we stayed). No welcome pack and no food shop in the village. I did raise my concerns with the agency but they didn't appear that interested.
60th Birthday weekend. House was good and less than a minute to the restaurant.
7.0Location great. House is comfortable, everything you need is there.
− There was an unpleasant smell in the first floor bedroom as well as the downstairs lounge. The noise from the Penthouse above was quite off-putting at times. Lovely house, just needs a few tweaks.
A deposit may be required at the property.
