The room was beautiful, well organized, the view was amazing from the balcony

− I didn’t like the part that the bed sheet weren’t that clean and also I found a pair of women underwear in the middle of the blanket, which means after someone stayed there nobody touched the blanket for washing it, and also most of the time we didn’t have hot water, we had to text to notify the owner so he or she could turn the boiler on, and most of the time we still didn’t have hot water

Small pretty studio with very nice water views

The little studio was very nicely decorated and very clean, and the view of the water was exceptional (the best part). The balcony was also nice when weather permitted (it rained during most of my 2 week stay). The room is located up 2 flights of narrow stairs and only one other room for rent is also located in the small building. The area is very different during winter: it is quiet and very few shops are open, and no tourists anywhere. I enjoyed this bc I was writing and wanted quiet/no distractions.

− The walls are very thin, and for 2 weeks I had to listen to a young man next door throwing tantrums and yelling at his girlfriend every other night. I could hear every single word. It was really disturbing and usually lasted until 2am. These sorts of things are not my business but it very disturbing to listen to a man verbally abuse a woman. I knocked on the wall a few times and nothing changed. (It also became clear that one of them is a relative of the owner- so nothing would have changed). The hot water was also controlled by the owner who was not on-site, and during the cold rainy days I would need to request via text to turn on hot water. Twice this did not happen . In the 2 weeks I stayed, I had only 1 hot shower. Also, was only provided 1 small economy roll of toilet paper for a 2 week stay. This has not ruined my stay, but I wouldn’t go back. And I’m sure the typical vitriol will be spewed at me for my honest review.. I don’t care; would rather be honest for other solo travellers to understand.

Everything was perfect, except...

− There wasn't cold water the last three days of my stay there. So, it was difficult to use the toilet. The staff asked questions but was doing nothing to settle the matter.
