4.0Beautiful location
− Extremely dark in the apartment due to poor lighting. Kitchen very poorly equipped, no chopping board, no oven gloves, no hand soap for bathrooms, tiniest amount of washing up liquid that last one evening. No response to emails prior to booking or after booking. No useable outside space for our apartment - chairs rusty (corner apartment at the back)
It was the perfect setting for my family holiday. Will visit again for sure.

5.0We stayed in Main Hall in Library Suite Should of been in stables but was overbooked. Suite was large and bed was very comfy. Oven heated up quickly
− Suite was for upto 4 people No microwave, measuring jug, mixing bowl, oven gloves, tray, not enough cutlery, no coat hangers, shower towel hooks, hand towel hook, no safety rail in bath, no non slip mat for bath had to take my own. Only 1 half toilet roll ( were there 4 nights) only 1 hand towel and 1 tea towel ( if you wanted more toilet roll, hand/ tea towels had to pay). Had to hang shower towels and hand towels over bed rails and doors to dry. Bathroom and lounge dusty and loads of cobwebs with big spiders. All dinner wear, cutlery, glasses, mugs, saucepans, frying pans, utensils dirty had to put everything through dishwasher before using.. Settee very uncomfortable 2nd bedroom had no side tables or cupboards
Lovely building but totally let down with basics, as in cleanliness and basic equipment.
9.0Lovely property and well situated for our needs.
− War Horse - one dinner plate (2people), no scouter sponge or drainer. Most light bulbs not working so very gloomy. Red Rum - oven filthy/greasy so had to be cleaned before use (had to improvise as no cleaning equipment). Jet bath filthy. Switched on and jetted out a load of black crap - had to use shower instead. Some light bulbs not working. Toiletries not as specified

7.0Lovely location, rolling hills, quiet and relaxed. Very hot needed a few fans or air-conditioning. Needed to be cleaner and spider free.

10.0Fantastic location for a restful day or 2 away. Beautiful surroundings and plenty to do nearby but also nicely remote for the peace & quiet.
− Didn't like that week haven't been in the autumn/winter. Got the feeling it could be even better then.
