Ruime woning. Vriendelijke buurvrouw voor de sleutels. Winkel en bus op 100meter

− We zijn met de bus naar de Teide gereden, maar die groene bus komt maar om 11uur boven aan en komt om 16uur al terug, daardoor slechts 5 uur wat net niet genoeg is om op de top te geraken. De andere wandelingen vanaan het huisje zijn ook mooi.

I’d never return there. This isn’t worth the money; it feels like we were ripped off.

The place has three bedrooms and two bathrooms which are actually the only positives.

− Four people travelling abroad were left without hot water and couldn’t take a proper shower. The host admitted he didn’t know how to fix it and the only person who could wasn’t reachable. To make matters worse, the heating was controlled by air conditioning units which weren’t sufficient for the space. Running all three would cause a power failure. While the closed bedroom could be somewhat heated, you have to let it run on full-power a metre away from your head. The bed linings were old, probably decades, similar to my grand-grandmother’s. The kitchen was hardly equipped for cooking.

Spacious apartment, great starting point for hiking

Very spacious with 3 bedrooms, nice location as a starting point for hiking around.

− It gets quite cold during evenings and nights and only 3 out of 5 AC’s can run at once, otherwise the fuses go out. So we had to manage which AC’s to turn on and due to that we did not use one of the bedrooms at all.
