Nos llevamos una grata sorpresa. La casa es muy linda, del tamaño justo para una familia (caben 6 adultos cómodamente) y con una vista al Cerro Castillo espectacular. Está muy bien equipada, mantenida y decorada, muy acogedora, cálida y funcional. Se nota el cariño y la preocupación en todos los detalles. Los anfitriones, muy buena onda, siempre estuvieron disponibles, respondieron todas nuestras dudas y además nos ayudaron con ideas para paseos por la zona y una preciosa cabalgata.

Me quedé un par de días y la experiencia superó totalmente mis expectativas. La decoración es amena y elegante, y está equipada con todo lo necesario para estar cómodo y, al mismo tiempo, conectar con el paisaje y disfrutar de verdad la estancia en el sur. La idea era desconectarnos, y eso fue exactamente lo que logramos. Además, Andrés se preocupó muchísimo de que nuestras rutas aprovecharan al máximo la experiencia en Cerro Castillo: nos recomendó paisajes preciosos y un trekking con un final inmejorable: una vista realmente fantástica. Todo fue redondo.

La ubicación es excelente, tiene una vista privilegiada a Cerro Castillo desde el living comedor. La casa está muy bien equipada con todo lo necesario y tiene una decoración muy acogedora que completa la experiencia patagónica. Cada cosa ha sido escogida con cuidado y dedicación. Todos los servicios funcionaron perfecto (agua caliente, calefacción, etc). Muy recomendable a quienes les gusta estar en medio de la naturaleza. Muy cerca del pueblo.

This home is centrally located and has a magnificent view of Cerro Castillo. The town is just a short drive down the road as well as the trailhead road for the Cerro Castillo hike. The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The beds are comfortable, the shower pressure is great and the kitchen is well stocked with kitchen items. The host Andrew was always available to answer any questions. The home is located in a private setting with only one neighbor.

Trip of a lifetime and an absolutely gorgeous, private home with spectacular views

This property is EXCEPTIONAL!! The home itself is designed by a talented architect who created an absolutely beautiful home with spectacular views from every room. The living room features a HUGE WINDOW with a breathtaking view of Cerra Castillo mountain. The attention to detail is amazing. This gorgeous, well-appointed home included everything one needs to settle in comfortably yet is located close enough to venture out for a challenging (or easier!) hike nearby. Part of our group achieved their bucket list goal of climbing up to Laguna Cerra Mountain to the pool of fresh glacier water. The property is also surrounded by nature and open space. The bedding was luxe and the two ensuite bathrooms were ideal for our group. The upstairs also featured two twins which were a plus. I simply cannot rave enough about this PERFECT home that we hope to stay in again in the future. You won't be disappointed!! Ten+ stars all the way!!

Casa la Lenga is beautifully designed, constructed, furnished and decorated, which makes for a super comfortable and relaxing stay. It’s also really well located for hiking in the Cerro Castillo NP and other sightseeing, easy to get to from the Careterra Austral and close to town - ideal! Add to that the gorgeous views, from all the rooms, of the surrounding mountains, valleys etc. All in all, a place we wished we could have stayed for longer. Andres is a great host too; he helped us figure out which hike would be best for a hot, windy day (Neo Zelandes) Thanks Andres - we hope to be back someday.
