Cost effective, secure and free parking!

We wanted cost effective and secure accomodation, with parking, within walking distance of the US Embassy. This flat ticked all the boxes! It may not look much from outside but it's clean, tidy and secure. There was very little noise from the neighbours and the car was parked up without issue for 3 days. The host was exceptionally responsive and polite with all his messages. Many thanks

Way over priced for location, facilities and in general.

I liked that there was a play ground in the next complex for the kids to play on.

Unless you are visiting someone in the nearby neighbourhood, and especially if you’re travelling in winter or summer, I would not recommend staying here. The photos make the property look much nicer and bigger than it actually is. While the owner was lovely and genuinely tried his best, his quick and well-intentioned efforts couldn’t make up for the poor accommodation itself. It’s a combination of two trains and a bus to get to most of London’s sightseeing attractions and tourist destinations. When we arrived, it was unbearably hot, so we asked if we could cancel our booking and receive a refund. Because of this, and likely due to the review from the previous guest, the owner brought over two pedestal fans. Unfortunately, they hardly helped, although I understand London was experiencing a heatwave that it’s not used to. That said, the rest of the accommodation was no better. We had to drape the duvets over the curtains to try and block out some of the light. The shower hose sprayed water everywhere, and the shower head wouldn’t stay attached to the wall, making it almost impossible to wash your hair. The bathroom was so small there was barely any room to move. One of the dining chair legs was broken, and my son fell off it. The kitchen was smaller than the average Australian bathroom and somehow contained a fridge, washing machine, hot water system, and a gas oven and stove. I’m a 35-year-old Australian woman, and I’ve only ever seen gas ovens like this in museums. I’d certainly never had to cook with one in such a tiny kitchen during a heatwave. To make matters worse, whenever the washing machine drained, the water backed up into the kitchen sink before eventually draining away. We could also hear children running around and dropping things above us at all hours of the day and night.

Location to bus & underground stops. Many bars, cafes, restaurants & shops in the area to choose from. Cleanliness of apartment, free parking.

The bathroom is in need of modernizing. The shower in the bath is too low. I'm 5f 1 and struggled to stand underneath it. The height of the bath to climb in to shower is difficult for people who are of limited mobility. The water through the tap was not regulated and came through exceptionally hot or exceptionally cold at times therefore it is dangerous and you can easily scold yourself. Paint coming off the ceiling in the bathroom. Personally, in the bedroom I would of like lamps so I can read without disturbing my daughter because there was only the bright main ceiling light. A coffee machine would be a nice touch.

I recommend for families of 4, playground just in front of the window. Appart. tiny, but very clean, tidy, ecquiped. Heating worked well, quiet location. Tesco 5 min. Tube, 10min.
