If cluttered, dusty rooms and questionable hygiene are your thing - go for it!
2.0I had to leave too early for breakfast and was kindly offered a lunchbox instead – unfortunately, both snacks were past their expiry date and the bread had large mouldy spots. This rather sums up the entire stay: good intentions, but very poor execution and seriously lacking hygiene/cleanliness.
− Very poor cleanliness: hair and all kinds of marks in the sink, shower and bathroom, empty air fresheners lying around, used drinking glasses from the previous guest, and dust everywhere. Freezing during the night (in spring), I was definitely not the first to have this issue: the wall radiator dial came off as soon as I touched it, presumably because previous guests had already unscrewed it trying to turn the heating on. Didn't matter, as there seemed to be no water in the system and the heating had obviously not worked for quite some time. The small ~20 year old portable electric heater placed in the room seemed more like a fire hazard than anything else (which I guess nobody would notice since no smoke/fire alarms are installed despite incredibly cluttered rooms). Despite the cold, the air in the room was very stuffy and the deteriorated window a nightmare to open/close.
