Absolutely Disgraceful- AVOID!!!!

− Absolutely terrible experience – avoid this property. We booked this apartment several weeks in advance through Booking.com. Communication with the host in the lead-up to our stay was already sporadic and unreliable, which should have been a warning sign. After arriving in Tenerife at around 11pm following a five-hour flight, we went to the property only to find there was nobody there to meet us and no way to obtain the keys. We attempted to contact the host multiple times and received no response. Booking.com also tried to contact the landlord and were unable to reach them. As a result, we were effectively stranded late at night in an unfamiliar place with no access to the accommodation we had booked and paid for. After travelling all day, this was an incredibly stressful and unacceptable situation. Being left without a place to stay at that time of night is simply not acceptable for any host. The only way this situation could have been worse is if we had been travelling with children. If you are considering booking this property, I would strongly recommend thinking twice. Based on our experience, you cannot rely on the host to communicate or even ensure access to the accommodation on arrival.
