10.0Fantastic modern, well-equipped villa, located in the hills of a nature reserve 1.5 miles from the nearest town (you will need a car). Perfect for those looking to escape from civilisation for a while. The villa is spacious and stylish inside, with numerous well-considered outdoor spaces (for the views and sunsets which are amazing, dining, relaxing/sunbathing, getting some shade, etc.) and a fantastic, picturesque swimming pool area. The pool is roughly 8x5 metres and remains warm throughout the day (in early June) but it does attract swarms of wasps (it’s in a nature reserve, so is to be expected). For the adventurous, there is also a small, peaceful beach 20 minutes walk through the nature reserve - it is not signposted and you will need to navigate the paths carefully but it’s worth it.
− As the property is situated in a nature reserve it attracts a lot of insects (wood lice, and such like) internally, and ants, wasps, foxes and wild boars externally. The wasps didn’t sting us but will likely be an issue if you have children or adults that are nervous around them when wanting to use the swimming pool, as they are attracted to the pool and cannot be deterred.

10.0This is a very high quality villa. The outside spaces and the care and attention in caring for them is second to none. The hosts were unbelievably helpful, some of the best restaurant recommendations I have ever received for example. Highly recommend
Spectacular house and location in stunning nature
10.0The villa completely exceeded our expectations. We felt home here. The house just made sense and even more so, we felt inspired by the house and location. Everything was perfect. Most spectacular was being next to a mountain, in nature and in the peace and quiet while everything was nearby- the beach, a nice town with great restaurants, a beautiful fishers town and the city of Cartagena, which is very special in itself. We could have stayed here much longer. Special thanks to Manuel and his family for hosting us. They couldn't have done a better job!
