* Overall, this was good value for money and a perfectly reasonable place to stay for a night or two. * The room was spacious, and the bed linens and towels were clean. * Complimentary bottled water was provided on arrival, along with coffee, shampoo and soap, which was a nice touch. * A hairdryer, iron and ironing board were available in the shared bathroom for guests to use if needed. * The air conditioning worked well while it was running and kept the room cool. * Despite being a property with a shared bathroom, we never actually crossed paths with the other guest, so it still felt private. * The location is great—around a 10-minute walk from downtown Wilmington, making it easy to explore on foot. * Free on-street parking was available and we had no trouble finding a space.

− * The bathroom could definitely benefit from a deep clean. There was some hair, grit, rust and mould on the shower curtain, and overall it felt quite dated. * The room itself could also have been cleaned a little more thoroughly. * The bottled water wasn’t replenished during our stay, so if you’re staying more than one night it would be nice if this was topped up. * The air conditioning appeared to switch off during the night, meaning the room became a little warm by the morning but it was fine.

Great Personal place

Perfect for a single night or two. Great location and comfy, but could use some updating and a good deep clean.

Great location, friendly staff, and discreet. Towels and toiletries provided. Room was comfy and temperature was decent. Shared bathroom but never ran into anyone else.

− Overhead light didn’t work. Preach quiet hours at 10 but the people inside the home were loud until midnight. The bathroom could definitely use some updating and a bit more in depth cleaning. “Coffee” was a jar of almost no grounds. Could switch to a single serve coffee maker like a Keurig or something for sanitary purposes. The water was in a jar, again for sanitary purposes recommend single water bottles.

The building itself felt like an organic part of the city. The entrance was almost like something out of a storybook. A spacious, comfortable room made relaxing and winding down easy, while the luxurious bathtub added an unexpected bonus.

− Bathroom a bit grunge, a stand-up shower would be better & maybe ditch the ironing board and place a small table for toiletries, make-up, cosmetic bag
