The best homestay and guides in Rantepao
10.0Hostel Papa Tia is more than just a place to stay. Yacob and his family make you feel part of their home. The breakfast was exceptional. The dinner was even better. The hostel also offers the best tours and guides. For 4 days we got to know a culture completly different to ours thanks to Yacob. On top of that Yacob even offered help when our flight was cancelled 4 days after we left his homestay.

10.0During our stay, we were made to feel very welcome by the whole family. Great local recommendations, and they can arrange trips around the area. The bedroom was comfortable and we sleeped very well. The bathrooms and communal spaces were clean and well maintained.

8.0Con diferencia, lo mejor de este alojamiento a mi parecer es la tranquilidad. Los únicos ruidos que se escuchan es alguna moto que pasa pero, gracias a que está distante de la carretera, no resulta apenas molesto. Esta tranquilidad lo hace muy atractivo, ya que el silencio es el bien más escaso en Rantepao. La casa está situada en medio de un arrozal, con lo que le da un plus. Hay un balconcito en el primer piso que es donde se encuentran las habitaciones, y en la planta baja una agradable terraza. El desayuno es una delicia, además hay café y té a libre disposición de los clientes.
− La limpieza deja mucho que desear, así como el acceso al alojamiento. A este se accede por un estrecho camino que está sin acondicionar y cuando llueve es un pequeño barrizal. Debieran de dedicar un poquito de esfuerzo a limpiar la maleza que cae de los árboles y que lo hace resbaladizo, y acondicionar adecuadamente. La carretera que conduce al centro de la ciudad es bastante incómoda porque carece de acera la gran cantidad de tráfico que hay en esta lo hace bastante desagradable de recoger. No hay servicios cerca del alojamiento.

10.0L'atenció per part de Jakob i la seva família és excepcional. L'emplaçament de Papa Tia és preciós. Hi ha una zona agradable on pots esmorzar, sopar o passar el temps. Les habitacions i les zones comunes estan ben netes. Al hostel mateix et poden organitzar l'itinerari per Toraja o bé llogar-té scooters.
