The house requires some serious work in order for it to be worth the money.

The property had a lot of potential, comfy beds and a games room with pool and arcade machine. Host was quick with their replies, but only during the stay.

− The stay was disappointing but we believed it had a lot of potential. Firstly, the house was full of clutter, as if the hosts had not cleaned out before our arrival which made the house feel cramped. The cleanliness was well below standard with an extremely unclean fridge and freezer and outdoor area. The kitchen also only had 4 dinner knives which is less than ideal and no pantry space as all cupboards are full of mismatched crockery and appliances. We ended up using the dining room table as a storage for our dry food. Another major issue was the back door would not lock, we did contact the host regarding this and they said they would have a look when they re-cleaned the freezer, however, it was still broken when we got back. This did make us feel uneasy during our stay. The outside area looked lovely in pictures, however when we arrived it was also full of clutter, such as an outdoor fridge full of food, 3 barbecues (2 of which were unusable) and the house which is attached has bedsheets hung all around their windows. When we left, we followed all the checkout instructions and then we heard nothing from the hosts. We had to chase the hosts 7-8 days after checkout to receive the entire security deposit back which took away from our other half of our holiday. I understand it may take 5-10 days to receive this, however, we were completely ignored when trying to ask for an update.
