Tree Cabin in Bentonville

Great location, great,really fun property.

Beautiful property. The pictures do not do it justice. It was a great stay! Very comfortable.

− Kitchen Utensils and glasses were sparse. Toilet seat in tree house was broken. Hot tub did not feel clean, coating on floor and water was very cloudy/dirt. Blankets folded for use in the tree house and extra blankets in main house didn’t seem laundered. Outdoor lights on swing bridge not working.

The heated pool and hot tub were by far the favorite with the grandkids. The rope bridge and hammock were used for reading during the day and sleeping at night. The proximity to all of the trails was fantastic. Host and cleaning staff went above amd beyond in assisting us in retrieving and item we accidentally left behind. We could not be more thankful for their persistence and communication. Each year we choose a new location for our annual Christmas Vacation. Instead of gifts we spend time together. The entire family rated this one as the best location and space since we started doing these seven years ago.

dirty amenities & no reimbursements - not worth it

I liked that the property was pretty centrally located in terms of places we could go to hike & fish. It was also down the street from a bike trail.

− This was the most stressful stay we have ever had. For 2 nights, we paid a little over $1000 for the whole property, this included a $250 cleaning fee. The stay was NOT worth $500/night. Upon arrival at 4p, the heated pool was green, dirty & cold, the cover for the water filter in the jacuzzi was removed & left at the bottom of the tank (as well as a random nail) to reveal filthy water filters & the fire pit contained wet woods & ashes. We notified the host immediately, the maintenance team arrived at 7:30p only to let us know it would take at least 5 hours to drain/refill the jacuzzi and clean the pool so they would come back in the morning. Next day, we came back from our outing at 4:40p to find nothing had been done. Once again I contacted the host. Maintenance arrived some time after 5:15p did the jacuzzi and firepit but only scraped the debris off the top of the pool & left @ 8:30p. They said the jacuzzi would take 2 hours to heat & refused to heat the pool higher than 80 degrees even though it was late & nearly 60 degrees out. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi took longer to heat than instructed and the pool was too cold to swim in. The only major amenity we were able to use was the fire pit. I had to ask the host 3 times for a partial refund or discount before she acknowledged it, to which she stated they were unable to offer any discounts or refunds. We reached out to booking.com with picture proofs & message trail. They agreed that the property was in the wrong and reach out to them, yet the property still refused to reimburse us for the poorly maintained property. Though the treehouse was cool, the uncertainty of the cleanliness of the amenities and the host's refusal to take responsibility and compensate for their undermaintained property is unacceptable. I wouldn't want to waste my hard earned money on a bad vacation again so we won't be returning.

Comfort and location

− The weather was great to use outside amenities but pool was dirty and no lights outside. All batteries on remotes weren't working. No communication, besides the indication on how to get in and out of property.

We had an amazing stay at this property! The kids loved it!
