Beautiful, peaceful location with the best host ever. The location of the little house, which is actually on the sea shore and where you can lie in bed and hear the waves breaking, just has to be experienced. Tasso thoughtfully equipped the house with a very generous amount of groceries including cheese pies, fresh fruit and a selection of drinks before we arrived so we didn't need to drive to one of the local supermarkets to stock up straight away. Tasso also speaks excellent English and was happily able to assist us with any local information we might need. He made us feel like honoured guests, and we are already planning our next stay.

− The only potential issue was the steps to reach the beach house but our lovely host, who not only went to the trouble of meeting us off the ferry, assisting with car hire and guiding us to the house happily carried our cases both ways, so there was no problem .

Our stay at Tasso’s place on Patmos was truly unforgettable, thanks to his exceptional hospitality. Staying in Sapsila Beach was amazing, with breathtaking views and comfortable accommodations that made our visit perfect in every way. Tasso welcomed us with warmth and generosity, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond by offering us some delicious local pastries, sharing fresh figs from his garden and delicious homemade fig jam. He also offered us his extensive knowledge of Patmos, providing valuable insights that enriched our visit. We’ve been fortunate enough to travel a lot, but we’ve never encountered such a great host as Tasso. We will always cherish the memories of our time here and can’t wait for the opportunity to return. Highly recommended!

WOW - just wow, where to start. Our stay at Patmos Horizon was incredible, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Tasso was the perfect host. He met us at the harbor, and we followed him on our quad to the house, which is breathtaking. The living and sleeping area was comfortable, with a bed offering incredible ocean views. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the necessary utensils, and the bathroom had the best shower we've experienced during our island-hopping adventure in Greece. Tasso was an impeccable host, providing just the right amount of warmth and friendliness without being overbearing. He welcomed us with fresh fruit, cheese pie, croissants, and homemade fig jam. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, biscuits, chocolate, bottled water, soft drinks, fresh ice, and, most importantly, two beers with ice-cold glasses in the freezer! Sapsila Bay, where the house is located, is fantastic—a calm bay with no visitors, making it feel like a private beach. The outdoor space was superb, with loungers on the patio and beach for our private use, an egg chair, and deck chairs. We especially loved the outdoor shower. We appreciated the small details Tasso added. We learned the house's history (it was his grandfather's fishing hut), met his father, and Tasso made us a mojito with fresh mint and lime from his garden on our second-to-last day. Our stay was a firm 15 out of 10, and we would jump at the chance to visit again.
