The actual accommodation was good but our stay was compromised by the excessive heat inside and wit
8.0The accommodation was good but we arrived during the heatwave and the house was uncomfortably hot. Air con in bedroom was ineffective and fans didn't help much
− Access to property was difficult. We couldn't open the rear gate to locate the key box.we eventually had to climb over the brick wall to get in. Not ideal after a long journey and in the dark. Disappointing.
Winchester was wonderful. The property was lovely except for the negatives listed.
6.0The house was well equipped with excellent equipment throughout. Good location, although we did have road noise.
− We found it very difficult to access due to locked back gate. No tea towels provided. Sadly unable to sit in back yard, due to VERY smelly bins. No guidelines on recycling etc. And a small welcome pack that is usually provided in A* accommodation such as milk, breat ect would have been welcome.
Perfect location, beautifully decorated and a most comfortable place to stay.

− We would have liked to have china plates etc rather than the unbreakable ones supplied.
A very comfortable & conveniently located house with a high standard of fixtures & fittings.
9.0Spacious double bedrooms & en suite facilities. Perfect for 2 couples or a family. Highly recommended as an alternative to a hotel.

8.0The house is very stylish and beautifully appointed. The decor is modern and the furnishings are of a very high standard.
− We didn't like having to contact the host to remotely put the heating on. The house was very cold when we arrived. We should have had the freedom to put the heating on when required rather than having to be controlled remotely by the host given the price we paid.
