The good aspects, Owners quickly responding to any issues, although this was remotely. I was kindly granted early check in 90 minutes ahead of the scheduled time. Fantastic location, everything you could possibly need is a just a few steps away, convenience stores, cafes, bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc Although very close to the centre of Envigado, late night noise is not an issue. Impeccably clean apartment obviously well taken care of. It was nice to have a supply of coffee, sugar, bathroom soaps etc The not so good, The terms of the booking were, "no prepayment needed -pay at the property". On booking I was immediately being asked for payment. If I didn't pay upfront then I would have to cancel the booking. I was quite unhappy about this. I arrived during one of the notorious Medellín downpours & couldn't gain access because I'd been given the incorrect code for the lockbox. Luckily a friendly local shopkeeper was able to help. The apartment is quite small, particularly the bathroom, but that's fine for a relatively short stay. I would have preferred the television to have been in the living area rather than the bedroom. Watching TV in the bedroom is for bedtime! The lighting in the living room was a little overwhelming, a couple of table lamps would have made it more homely. The kitchen was a little small for doing much food preparation, there were plenty of gadgets but it lacked a couple of saucepans, tablespoons, storage tubs. It was plenty adequate though.
