10.0Our stay at Pieds Dans L’Eau Holiday Apartments started with a few unexpected complications, but thanks to Veronica, the manager, it turned into a very beautiful and memorable experience. When we arrived on Mahé from Praslin, our luggage had not arrived with us, so we spent the whole afternoon with only the clothes we were wearing and the small things we had with us. On top of that, we could not get the apartment we had originally booked, because after a storm the balcony glass had cracked and, for safety reasons, we had to stay in another apartment. The apartment was very nice, but unfortunately it did not have the sea view we had been looking forward to. But then there was Veronica. And honestly, she was the heart of this place. She was so genuinely sorry about the situation and immediately started looking for solutions. She offered us another apartment with the most beautiful and absolutely amazing sea view, but we had to wait until the next day because there were still guests staying there. The next day was my friend’s birthday, and I had arranged the birthday surprise with Veronica in advance. This angel prepared everything so beautifully, with so much care, kindness and attention to detail. It was perfect, touching and unforgettable. We were truly amazed. Right after that, we moved into the promised apartment and finally enjoyed the most breathtaking view — 50 shades of green and turquoise of the Indian Ocean. It was absolutely stunning. In the end, we really enjoyed our stay very much, mainly thanks to Veronica. Her kindness, warmth, professionalism and beautiful energy made a big difference. She turned a difficult beginning into a wonderful memory. Thank you, Veronica, from the bottom of our hearts. You are a real angel, and we will never forget your kindness. We would happily come back again.
