− No Locks on the door, if the hostel rooms had access control it would have been perfect. A bit concerned on safety.

10.0I stayed at The Hosteller, McLeod Ganj, and it was an amazing experience. The property is located in a beautiful spot, right near the Mall Road, with stunning hill-facing views. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and the overall facilities are top-notch. The ambience is perfect for solo travelers as well as groups—safe, comfortable, and full of good vibes. The staff is helpful, and the place feels like a blend of comfort and adventure. Highly recommended if you’re visiting McLeod Ganj. Definitely the best place to stay!

1.0− I usually travel solo and I prefer staying at Hosttler because of the quality of the service but this was the first time I had the worst experience at Hosttler. The staff checked me out of my room without even asking me All my luggage was packed me moved out of room by them in my absence. This was literal infringement. And when I confronted the lady the counter she instead blamed me and refused to accept her mistake. It was literally the worst experience and I don’t think I will ever want to stay at Hosttler again. If any of you all are travelling to Mcleodganj please prefer zostel or Mitra The staff there is much more co operative then Hosttler
Good value for money but a bit on the noisy side (outside noise)
8.0Really nice bedroom which was well worth the money. Clean shower and lovely staff members. Location nice and close to Temple.
− Very noisy area. Found it difficult to sleep. All outside noise - not from the guests. Couldn't order food as you have to do it online and pay online, but I didn't have any of the payment types they use, which was a bit frustrating.
