Great location with the lake in front and paddy fields behind. Easy to get to by ferry. Helpful owner. Rooms are large and have great views. Rooftop area is good for relaxing. Nice breakfast.

− This isn't really a homestay as no family lives here and is on hand I would've liked an upstairs room but told they hadn't been cleaned. The downstairs room smelled damp initially and everyone walking by can look straight in. No evening meals available. There is one restaurant nearby which said they would be open until 9pm. I went at 6pm and they wete not serving food. Owner said I should've called him but I wasn't sure what to ask for or how it would've got to me as there is no road. I think the meal situation needs more clarity. Next day I took the ferry to Allepey and ate there. That is easy to do. The area at the side and rear would be nicer if the rubbish etc was tidied up.

The rooms are comfortable with an unobstructed view of the great Vemband Kayal. It is very soothing and pleasant. The neighbourhood is calm and very welcoming.

Very beautiful Island, clean rooms, very attentive family. I really enjoyed my stay with them. The island can be reached by public ferry or private boat, the public ferry takes ca 40 min and quite an experience in my opinion, I enjoyed it. There is no restaurant in the place, but there are multiple options closeby and food is provided for - dinner was ordered for me from a restaurant in Alleppey and was very tasty, also breakfast was very nice.

Wonderful stay with an amazing view and a fantastic host! We had a truly lovely stay at this property. The owner was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our visit. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, which made a big difference to our overall experience. The view from the property was absolutely stunning and added so much to the charm of the stay. Waking up to such beautiful surroundings was a highlight for us.

The room and location are very good, and the surroundings are pleasant

− I was extremely disappointed with the overall service, especially regarding food facilities. At the time of booking on Booking.com, it was clearly mentioned that a restaurant was available at the property. Unfortunately, when we checked in, we were informed that there is no restaurant at all. This was not communicated in advance. They did not even provide basic tea or refreshments. We struggled a lot for food during our stay. To eat anything, we had to take a boat and travel nearly 20 minutes, which is very inconvenient and exhausting, especially after check-in. While the location and room quality are good, the lack of food arrangements and poor communication from the management were very disappointing. This seriously affected our overall experience.
