The house was extremely clean—truly one of the best we've stayed in when it comes to cleanliness. The kitchen was fully equipped. Moreover, the owner allowed us to check in early at 2 p.m. instead of 4 p.m. free of charge and was very responsive to all our messages requesting information.Totally recommended.

− The main bus line that serves the apartment, No. 17, is unreliable. It is generally on time only on weekdays, especially in the mornings. On weekends, afternoons, and evenings, it tends to be problematic. You often need to take two buses to reach certain attractions if you prefer not to walk. The nearest major attraction—the cathedral—is about a 9-minute walk from the closest bus stop on the way there, and around 12 minutes on the way back. We found transportation a bit challenging, especially since we were traveling with a toddler under five years old.

Great place to stay, very clean, there is everything you need and even a coffee machine. There was a milk and bottle of water when we arrived. The host provided an opportunity to check in earlier which was really great for us. Very calm and cozy place! Thanks!

Our stay at Casa Romantica Vicino was absolutely wonderful and truly one of the highlights of our Italian journey. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and instantly at home. The property lives up to its name – it is romantic, charming, and filled with authentic Tuscan character. The location is ideal – peaceful and just a short stroll from the heart of Florence. We loved being close enough to easily reach all the major attractions while enjoying the calm and beauty of a quieter neighborhood.The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the living spaces were perfect for relaxing after long days of sightseeing. Our hosts were exceptionally kind and helpful, offering great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. Their warmth and hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We were traveling with our children, and the space worked beautifully for a family. It’s rare to find a place that combines style, comfort, and practicality so perfectly.We would return in a heartbeat and recommend Casa Romantica Vicino to anyone looking for a magical stay in Florence. Adorable apartment with wonderful host

Host was an absolute delight to communicate with. Super clean! Little snacks, salt/pepper/oil, coffee pods provided which was a very sweet bonus.The apartment is super adorable, exactly like the photos. Bus stop just a 5-10 min walk away. Great panini shop around the corner. It was just a quick, one night stay for us, so it worked out well. The city center is about 10-15 mins by bus so location worked out really well to see the highlights in the short time we had. Thanks so much!

− This was nothing against the apartment but something to keep in mind. We were two couples so the bed setup wasn't ideal since there's only one bedroom and the other bed is in the living room area but we knew that going in and since it was only one night, it was totally fine. Would work great for a small family or a couple.
