3.0The apartment is in a great location and offers plenty of space for a family.
− Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this accommodation. Upon arrival, we had to wait for more than 1.5 hours outside the apartment with two children because the host failed to send the access code despite repeated requests. When we finally entered, we found that the apartment had not been cleaned or prepared for new guests – the bed linen and towels had not been changed. In addition, there was no running water, making it impossible to use the toilet or shower, and we had not been informed about this situation in advance. Although the host later arranged for a cleaner to come, the cleaning was only partial and we had to mop the floors ourselves. During the first night, we found a large cockroach in the bathroom. We also experienced several technical issues throughout our stay, including poor drainage in the shower and sink, and balcony doors that were extremely difficult to open. I also consider the information about the swimming pool to be misleading. According to the host, the pool had been out of service for a long time, yet it was still advertised as an available facility. The compensation offered – a late check-out or one additional night free of charge – was not useful to us because we already had return flights booked. Overall, the accommodation did not meet the standard presented at the time of booking. The combination of cleanliness issues, technical problems, poor communication, and organizational shortcomings had a significant negative impact on our stay. Had we been informed of these issues in advance, we would have chosen different accommodation.

− Fica um pouco quente sem ar condicionado, principalmente no quarto de cima. Também foi pena a piscina da Herdade da Aroeira não estar a funcionar este ano.
