A beautiful family house away from the chaos . We were travelling with my elderly parents and we all found it very comfortable. It was clean, spacious, calm and luminous! We spent one evening sitting on the veranda having apéro and admiring the sunset. In the mornings, we went for a run near the lake which takes about 5 -10 minutes to get there. We found a couple of restaurants close by that worked well for us too. The hostess was really so kind, patient, great communication and generous (she gave us food and even ice-cream!). We accidentally took one set of house keys with us when we checked out and not once did she make a fuss, instead she coordinated with our driver so it could be posted to her. She deserves all the praise in the world for that! We definitely recommend this place and will come back again in the future.

− There were definitely ants but that didn't bother us. We noticed in our travels that ants seem to be a part of srilankan homes. They don't bite. Just eat your food, for which the hostess provided us with a box to store them. It was not an issue for us. The house is lovely and our only recommendation would be to add a cooking top/stove so guests can cook as the house has everything else.

Well equipped and maintained property

We spent two nights here while we were in Anuradhapura. The property is kept clean, and the amenities provided are great. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, so we were able to enjoy our time there. We rented out the entire home, and they even have an area you can climb up to for a view of the surrounding area. The rooms are well kept, and they all have A/C and hot water. I would highly recommend this place for travelers.

The property was very clean, spacious, and in a great location,just a short walk to Thisa Lake and close to the temples. The balcony had beautiful views of nature and a temple in the distance. The staff were friendly and flexible, making our stay very comfortable.

− The only small issue was that I expected 5 rooms inside the bungalow, but there were actually 4 inside and 1 located outside, which needs to be requested separately. This wasn’t a big problem as the staff quickly arranged it for us, but it’s good to know in advance. I think most of Sri Lankan guests are happy to share rooms but if guets from overseas, they would like to have their own space. It wasn’t a big deal as the owner arranged it quickly.

The house was supper clean and beautiful. I stayed there with my family two days and we enjoyed it very much. The surrounding environment is very calm and quiet perfectly calming our minds in this city of buddah. And the person who contacted during the stay was super friendly and detailed. I recommend this place for anyone who likes a calm and beautiful place to stay. And the cost per night is also very budget friendly.

De bungalow is erg mooi en comfortabel. Voor iedereen een eigen slaapkamer met badkamer. Vanaf het balkon had je prachtig uitzicht. De ejgenaar reageerde snel op berichtjes en was altijd bereid te helpen.

− De ligging van de bungalow is net buiten de voorzieningen. Restaurants liggen op een kleine kilometer afstand. Met een tuktuk prima te doen, maar te voet eigenlijk niet.
