Despite the negative sides, a great stay and somehow the best cheap stay in London in 12 years

I had a great stay that was exactly what I needed. Last minute, my partner joined me on a trip to London to see Gaga, and I absolutely loved how close the location was to the O2. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Honestly, it was the best stay I’ve had in London in the past 12 years. I’ve stayed in rooms costing up to £200 per night for shows and holidays, but this was extremely affordable and conveniently close. Because of the location, we felt safe and were able to travel back and forth to the O2 for as little as £10–15 before and after the show. It saved us so much time, which we could then spend enjoying other lovely activities.

− I’m sharing a few notes for future guests and the owner. Despite some details, I would still rate this stay a 10. The bathroom and toilet room are quite small, but still better than what I’ve experienced in many expensive London hotels. Noise levels can be high due to airplanes and nearby schools, but with the windows closed it’s manageable. The house itself is older but well maintained, and the area is very nice with great access to buses and the tube. The room felt a little crowded with all the furniture, and we did notice some long black hairs around. The pillows didn’t smell very fresh, and there were some feathers scattered around, probably from the pillows, which wasn’t very pleasant. On the positive side, all essentials were provided and even more. I especially appreciated the high-quality, silent fan which made the nights very comfortable. Just to note: this isn’t a luxury holiday spot, but it’s a very pleasant stay with a lovely view from the window. Cleanliness could be improved, especially in the shower and the creaky bath, but overall it was a very good experience.
