Comfy cottage with modern feel

Clean, Comfotable, fresh decor, and we appreciated the big TV!!!! Owners communicated with us really well.

− Only small niggles - the bedrooms have venetian blinds so I was woken early with the light... Also some traffic noise from nearby road.

Spacious and comfortable stay for a family of 8

We loved how spacious the property is and it warmed up quickly for it's size in the coldness of February. Very modern and clean with traditional features. You can see a lot of love and care has gone into this property from the hosts. The beds were very warm and comfortable and we all slept so well! We also requested an extended stay, and because nobody was booked in it was granted for a very good price. The hosts are friendly and easily contactable for anything we needed. We loved the location, near to the city centre and some lovely local river walks off the main road.

− There are only two mirrors in the whole property and both are in the bathrooms so this made getting ready for a family function very tricky especially when doing hair and makeup when the bathrooms were being used. There is so much space, each room could easily have full length mirrors. We also found it difficult to cook for a family of 8 as there weren't enough cooking pots or utensils to cook a large meal and the ones provided were quite small, so not good for cooking for large families. There was also no microwave, which we would have expected. The bedrooms and bathrooms had no hooks to hang up our towels, so again this was challenging when using the bathrooms as there was nowhere to put them or hang them up.
