9.0We had a beautifully decorated room, which was very clean. The breakfast was very good, we also had our evening meal at the pub, which was very good. We caught a bus into Staithes and Whitby from just down the road, which ran every half hour. The prices for food were very competitive.
− The only downside was that our room was at the side of the very busy road, so I couldn't sleep, but the next two nights, I used earplugs, which were in the room, and pleased to say they worked.

10.0The Tiger Inn is well presented, clean, excellent value, food is excellent and extremely dog friendly. The dog bowls, dog bed and dog treats were a wonderful thought which we appreciated. Access to the garden was perfect. The locals were kind to our pet, and the staff were wonderful. Could no fault them. The breakfast offerings were faultless.
