The location was good, close to facilities, restaurants. A bit noisy during the evenings and night due to drunk people coming back from bars and pubs

− We stayed for nearly three weeks and paid in full a year in advance. The apartment had clearly been renovated and featured two lovely terraces — one covered, and another accessible from the bedroom. It was clean on arrival and equipped with the basic essentials in both the kitchen and bathroom. However, the sewage smell inside the apartment was overwhelming. We could not stay indoors unless we kept the balcony doors open, even at night, which was far from ideal given the unusually low temperatures, storms, and occasional rain during our stay. Housekeeping was minimal: the bedding was changed only once in three weeks, and no cleaning service was provided. Although the bedding had been professionally cleaned, it looked worn, and the mattress was of very poor quality. The apartment had an iron and ironing board, and although the hair dryer was initially broken, it was replaced promptly. There was no vacuum cleaner — only a broken broom and dustpan — which made maintaining the space quite uncomfortable over such a long stay. The wardrobe design was also impractical: the rail was attached to the ceiling, making it impossible to use the hangers that were provided. It also took us a full day to locate the Wi‑Fi information, and once connected, the internet speed was below average (though this may not have been entirely within the host’s control). Finally, the elevator did not work at any point during our stay. Carrying 70 kg of luggage up and down the stairs — along with regular groceries and water (tap water is not drinkable) — was challenging to some extent.

Fijn appartement, mooi zwembad. Prima locatie op loopafstand van strand, horeca en winkels.

− Bed in de slaapkamer was erg slecht. De host deed er alles aan om dit te verbeteren tijdens ons verblijf, maar overal is het beter als het bed vervangen wordt voor een boxspring, en niet meer een klapbed met opberg mogelijkheid. In de woonkamer waren in 1e instantie geen gordijnen aanwezig, nadat we dit opgemerkt hadden werden er direct tijdelijke gordijnen opgehangen.
