The Perfect Stay!

The apartment was incredible. The apartment was very spacious, very clean, tidy, modern and stocked all the amenities that one could wish for. Espresso machine, filter coffee and all other things e.g. washing machine, flat screen tv (with netflix), fully AC etc was brilliant. All washing up liquids, washing powder, shower gels etc were provided. The two hosts were incredible - they really went above and beyond what normal hosts would do. The delivery of fresh bread (and cookies) on a daily basis was such a treat. Manolis was excellent in recommending some really nice restaurants in the area, 'The Leaky Cauldron', was a real highlight. 'Giambous' bakery was another real highlight, beautiful coffee, croissants and tray bakes. The pool was cleaned daily and the apartment was cleaned in the middle of our stay (bed linen changed, and towels replaced). The apartment complex is very spacious with a good locked gate and outside seating area. 10/15 min walk to local supermarket and beach area. Rethymno old town is a real treat - Hasika restaurant (one of Manolis recommends) was lovely. We rented a car for the week, would likely recommend this if you wish to travel a bit further afield.

Everything. The Villa was incredible, perfect location, beautifully maintained. Manolis and Margarita were the perfect hosts, very kind and thoughtful, nothing was too much trouble.

Host was excellent! He even povided us with fresh bread delivered every morning. Recomnended some restaurants which were very good! Villa was well equipped. Good location near the local restaurants. Approx 5-8 min walk.

Charming mountain house boasting sea views, situated in a peaceful neighbourhood just 5 minutes from the main street and 10 minutes from the beach. The property includes a private garden and parking area. Within the garden is a swimming pool – not overly large, but just right for playing with children or cooling off on warm days. There are also sun loungers and umbrellas near the pool, along with an outdoor dining table. A gas grill for barbecues is provided. The house comes fully furnished with all essentials, from kitchen supplies to pool toys. Its interior is designed in a contemporary style, featuring two air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on the first floor, and a spacious, air-conditioned living room with an open-plan kitchen on the ground floor. There’s an additional bathroom on the ground floor equipped with a washing machine. The hosts are accommodating and friendly, welcoming guests warmly with local treats and beverages so that immediate shopping isn’t necessary. I highly recommend this place and rightfully give it a 5-star rating.

This was an incredible stay. We had 2 people meet us at the start to go through everything, this was really helpful. We had messages to make sure we got their ok and really easy and quick communication throughout. We had a bunch of recommended restaurants and places to visit which was really helpful in the first couple of days to find our feet. The stay itself was everything we needed, 2 comfy rooms with great aircon, great bathrooms upstairs and down, big open space downstairs. They had thought of everything, they had washing up tabs, coffee, drinks in the fridge, dishwasher tabs and best of all a toastie machine which we had every single day. The best part was the Host leaving fresh bread and treats every morning as they own a local bakery (stunning). This was honestly the nicest gesture, we have two little girls and they loved running down and collecting the goods. The pool was cleaned daily and there was a cleaner's that came half way through the holiday. So really well looked after and clean all the time. The location was perfect. short drive to the town (which is amazing) and a shorter drive to the beach, which we rarely visited as the pool was perfect. We had so much privacy when in the pool as there was just a small farm in front and a couple of houses behind but there view was blocked with planting. I hope I haven't missed anything off, I can't rave more about our stay here. We are a family of 4 with 2 toddlers and it was more than ideal. Thankyou so much for being great host's, we have made so many beautiful memories.
