Why stay in a hotel when you can have a private villa?

Why stay in a 5-star hotel when you can have this? It feels more like having your own (almost) private villa. Hotels might look great, but they often disappoint. This is what a holiday should be, and I’d take it over a hotel any day. Exceptional friendly welcome from the host. I got a little tour and a fresh chilled coconut. Host is wonderful. Excellent communication, friendly, helpful but overall reserved and lets you relax. Pool is comparable to a private villa - you share it only with the host, who is rarely there - so near-total privacy Perfect pool temperature. Sunloungers and a shaded daybed. Peaceful, secluded garden with a strong sense of privacy. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, electric hob, and all utensils provided. Indoor and outdoor tables for eating. Apple TV. Clean, modern, Western-style bathroom with plenty of towels. Quiet location with no noise at night, just birds during the day. Very quick transport from the airport. Only little noise from planes. Overall setup feels far more relaxed and flexible than a hotel experience

− There are a lot of mosquitoes around the shaded veranda, especially morning and evening. Host provides smoke coils, but bring your spray! Location requires transport; there is nothing easily walkable in the heat. Not even a convenience store. Property is difficult to find due to unclear house numbering. Not an issue, but double check before booking the grab. Bed is quite firm (may not suit all preferences)

Alles hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Dietmar ist ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber! Die Unterkunft war sauber und gepflegt, wie das gesamte Anwesen. Wir haben viele Empfehlungen von ihm bekommen, von denen wir einige besucht haben. Alle waren TOP. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!!

Extremely kind, friendly and helpful hosts

− "private pool" is shared with the owners of this 'Air BnB-esque' property and in full view of their place. Most things felt a bit low quality; showerhead didn't stay up proper, toilet got stuck in a flush cycle, fridgedoor was missing a bar on the lower shelf and was prone to fall open, electric stove had clunky touch controls that responded slow and the power for it was this ugly cable sticking out the side in full view of the room, dining table is tiny 2 plates and a pan is full capacity, all beds in Thailand were hard by the standards that i'm used to but this one was hard even by those standards.

Friendly and helpful host, who lives nearby and can address any issues quickly It’s a private villa with its own beautiful backyard and parking space The village itself consists of few villas and surrounded by jungle, so seems very safe and calm. Convenient location allows for fast driving to any point on the island Cozy interior, all necessary utensils Swimming pool as a bonus

Host was very helpful. Offered to pick me up from the airport / drop me off or to give me a ride to the supermarket. Had some very good proposals for places to visit and restaurants to go to. He managed to get a scooter for a very good price. The room is very comfortable, you have a private entrance and a view into the garden. Very nice in the morning to see the greenery and to go for a swim into the pool. I definitely recommend this place / host.
