We had a truly wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. Francesco and Margherita are incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming hosts. During our trip we had an unexpected problem with our rental car, and they generously offered their help, even sacrificing their own personal time. We are truly grateful for their kindness and support. The cottage is absolutely charming and looks exactly like the photos. Everything is beautifully maintained, and the garden creates a unique, peaceful atmosphere where it is easy to relax and unwind. The location is excellent. Every day we visited a different beach, with the furthest one being only about a 30-minute drive away. The nearest supermarkets are around 5 minutes away by car, Avola is just 6 minutes away, and the beautiful baroque town of Noto can be reached in about 15 minutes. The interior of the house was comfortable, spotless, and fully met our expectations. We felt at home from the very beginning. This is one of those special places you want to return to. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic stay in Sicily, and we sincerely hope to come back one day.

The house has an amazing location, surrounded by a lemon grove. Beautiful views and a cozy pool. The grounds around the house and garden are well-maintained, reflecting the Sicilian atmosphere. It's atmospheric. The house has the feel of a Sicilian village. Gifts from the owners included fruit and cake, for which we were grateful. Welcome wine. The location requires a car.

− The house isn't self-contained (perhaps this isn't clearly described in the listing). It's a small cottage attached to the owner's house. Besides the owner and his guests, during our 12-day stay, there was ongoing work: trees were being cut down with heavy machinery, gardening was being done, cleaning was being done, and garden lights were being replaced. This was done by strangers. This completely ruined our comfort and relaxation. Using the pool (only during certain hours, because the owner sleeps during the day!) while strangers stand nearby and watch is unpleasant! And it doesn't allow for any freedom! The cleanliness of the house also left something to be desired (dirty dishes, a used kitchen sponge, etc.). However, the worst was when two dogs (a pit bull terrier! Yes, there are two on the property) knocked down our six-year-old son and continued jumping on him. A knee and elbow injury is one thing, but the child was terrified and afraid to leave the house. Dogs locked in a kennel all day (a horror in these temperatures) are completely unruly when let out! We were informed that they were let out because we left and returned home too soon. I am very disappointed with this place. We had three houses during our vacation in Sicily, and this one was the worst! It seemed like a courtesy, but I feel completely different. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place. We were very disappointed! For us, it was a complete lack of freedom and comfort, relaxation, and ultimately, a danger to the child. We have been to various parts of the world, and this is the first time we have had such a bad experience.

Francesco et margharita sont juste exceptionnels ! La maison est juste comme il le faut avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour vous même cuisiner si vous le désirez, la piscine est top pour vous profitez tranquillement, la propreté était parfaite. Nous nous y sommes sentis comme à la maison. Vous pouvez visiter Noto, Syracuse, il y a aussi la plage qui est à 5-10 min 😍 Nous n’hésiterons pas à revenir Encore merci à Francesco et Margharita pour tout Anaïs, Logan & Iliano

Sehr sauber und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Viele kleine Aufmerksamkeiten und wir haben uns am Pool sehr wohlgefühlt. Sehr entspannte Tage. Die Empfehlungen der Gastgeber. Das Restaurants PortoMatto war herausragend. Wir waren zweimal dort.

Vielen Dank an die Vermieter, welche sehr Nett sind und jede Frage gerne beantworten. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Der Pool und die ruhige Lage sind genial. Ausserdem ist die Unterkunft sehr gut gelegen, um ein Teil der schönsten Städte von Sizilien zu besuchen. Die Gastgeber sind äusserst freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben uns tollen Infos zur Umgebung gegeben. Wir waren haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.
