The location was great towards the beach and the food at the restaurants just on the beach as great. We were easily accommodated when we wanted to extend out stay and the staff were very friendly when we arrived.

− The location of the cabin we stayed was quite far back from the beach and behind a tarmac go-kart track. The aircon in the room didn't keep the room particularly cold due to the room structure but it was good enough for sleeping and was one of the best available given the pricing on the island without going to a resort.

The location on the beach is great. The pizza place & bunnan restaurant were nice to eat, good food & service. Getting the room key was easy, no paperwork & they didn't ask for payment until days later. There's an adorable puppy here that's fun to watch running around & playing. Staff was friendly & helpful with bags & getting water each day. We didn't ask for cleaning services. The heart lights above the bed were cute. I liked that I could pay with credit card & no extra fee.

− Online reviews range between 4 & 6, believe the 4. The first room we checked into had a clogged toilet & bad ac, so we were moved to another room- but they brought the wrong key so we were then moved to a 3rd room which had a broken latch lock so no way to keep door closed. That was quickly fixed with a new latch. The buildings all need maintenance, they look old & rough on the outside & the property could be cleaner, it's shabby. Our room was next to the trash dump area. There's giant cashew trees that drop fruit on your roof all day & night so you hear thumping all the time, that was a little funny the first few days. The fruit is messy all over the ground & a bit smelly. One day there was a girl collecting the fruit in a bag. The rooms are a pretty long walk from the beach, a little uphill & past a huge go kart track in the middle of the property. Strange. I don't think the listing expressed how far away they are. We came home one night to bugs swarming on our porch & kept finding bugs inside that night. I Googled a picture & it said they were termites, which i think was right bc i kept seeing wings all over the floor. We don't like when places use leftover bottles of shampoo, conditioners, soap from previous guests in the bathroom bc it's kind of gross so we bought our own. That's more of a hostel level, not the price we paid here. It's obvious they are leftovers bc each room had different products & containers. My husband wasn't happy that I listened to the higher reviews & booked here when we could've had a nicer place somewhere else. We wouldn't book here again.

There is only one beach nearby… but it is nice

− The power, with the AC and wifi turned off often. Considering 4G didnt work in this area, this was a big problem. The heat made it impossible to sleep. The shower pressure was barely there and very little hot water. The room had only been cleaned in the main areas. Our stay was tolerable only beacause it was between this and hostels. If you are looking for a nice and clean place, i do not recommend Sunshine hotel, especially considering the price. Is is also essential to rent a MC from the city, if you do not want to stay at one beach your entire stay. (Or dont want to pay 5-15 dollar for tuktuk one way)

− Not worthed for the price that they offer, the room just half done, no terrace, no fridge, no coffee, even breakfast they made for us only plain porridge with boiled eggs, lunch and dinner we need to find other restaurant, kind of we stay at home but paid 100 USD per night.
