Good location!

− I just find it so dark, dingy, smells stale, poor lighting. They don't have broadband. They have this mobile hotspot device which times out and needs messing around with just to connect the TV, and it's still slow. Old curtains. The place needs even just some like, let alone love.

It’s close to Wimbledon Park tube and some decent coffee shops. I liked it when we left.

− It’s not as described and the landlords/management don’t care, don’t want to help and make stupid excuses. Firstly the property is shared with a separate upstairs unit. The walls and floors are even thinner than the pillows! The upstairs neighbours have a baby. That cries at all hours. It’s like it’s in the room with you. And someone upstairs works nights. And clomps through the shared front door and up their stairs at precisely 04.36am. Seemingly every night. It says there’s a dishwasher. There isn’t. It says there’s WiFi. What there actually is is a 5G dongle and apparently ‘Wimbledon is known for its poor signal, especially where the house is’. Of course if you live in Wimbledon you might know this. But I don’t. And neither do you which is why you’re looking at short term rentals. So, the ‘WiFi’ goes off. Every 5 minutes. Onto the tv. Maybe you don’t care about tv. I don’t normally but during the World Cup I do, especially when England are playing. No tv signal. There’s no aerial. And no satellite or cable box. Apparently ‘people don’t ask about the tv. Give me an hour to sort it’. Nearly 2 hours later the landlord had renewed the 4K player app (IPTV - thought they were banned?). So now we have 2 million channels. None of which work because you need a decent WiFi signal to run a streaming service. I missed 90% of the match. The beds are seemingly made of granite. The mentioned pillows are thinner than 2 sheets of A4 paper. The bins out front are overflowing which might explain the dog sized rat I saw in the back garden. The property is shabby at best and scruffy in places. The management team are dismissive of complaints and deny that the listing is inaccurate and misrepresentative - perhaps it’s a magic dishwasher that has to be summonsed by saying ‘Izzy wizzy let’s get washy’? and the WiFi just hated me? Do yourself a favour, instead of booking here book yourself in for an annual service at the motor garage directly opposite and sleep on one of their...
