Perfect place for a small family gathering

Location to main street and shops. The privacy and closeness to the beach and local walks. The space within the house and all of the amenities were great. Especially having luxurious items as the Spa Pool and Shower, outdoor Fireplace and even the Pool Table as an added extra.

Lovely beach front stay...

Beautiful house with fresh and cool interior design. Well appointed with everything we needed. Not to mention spotlessly clean. Was a lovely and comfortable place to relax with plenty of space for our group. Great beachfront location with views out to the water from the front deck. Beach is a few steps away and the main street of Oneroa is only a few minutes walk up the hill. We also loved the cosy outdoor fire on the deck, the spa pool and the pool table. Thank you for a great stay. We would love to return!

A charming family home, though somewhat expensive.

The property's location and amenities were great. We found the pre-arrival information and recommendations to be highly valuable. Specifically, we appreciated: 1) the proximity to the beach, ideal for morning swims; 2) the convenient walk to Onearoa's township, bus stop, and ferry; 3) the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor fire while listening to the ocean at night; and 4) the spacious living areas, perfectly suited for families.

− Given the premium price, our expectations for a more relaxing experience were not fully met. 1) We were disappointed by the undisclosed proximity to significant construction, resulting in considerable noise and visual disruption. Transparency regarding this issue, especially given the cost, would have been appreciated. Furthermore, the unrestricted public parking directly in front of the property negatively impacted the view, a detail not accurately conveyed in the provided photographs. 2) The master bed's firmness proved excessive, resulting in significant discomfort and muscular soreness despite my preference for firm mattresses at home. 3) The provision of a small quantity of milk for coffee and tea would be a welcome amenity, avoiding the unnecessary purchase of a full carton for a short stay. 4) The inclusion of a small selection of fruit or a light snack would be a thoughtful gesture. However, we acknowledge the accessibility of nearby shops for guests with sufficient mobility.
