De accommodatie was erg schoon en goed onderhouden. Je verblijft midden in de natuur, waardoor je veel vogels en andere dieren kunt zien. In de woning is alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt voor een comfortabel verblijf. Via de host hebben we een massage op locatie geboekt, wat echt een geweldige ervaring was.

− De accommodatie ligt wat verder van het centrum, waardoor je voor uitstapjes of een restaurant meestal een taxi nodig hebt.

Ruhige Unterkunft im Grünen, eher für kürzere Aufenthalte geeignet.

Positiv hervorzuheben sind die gut funktionierende Klimaanlage und der Entfeuchter, wodurch das Klima drinnen sehr angenehm war. Auch Annehmlichkeiten wie Shampoo und Wasser standen zur Verfügung. Man kann seine Wäsche unkompliziert in einen Sack vor die Tür zue Reinigung abgeben mit einem Fixpreis von 20 USD. Die Lage ist ruhig und mit dem Taxi ist man in etwa 10 Minuten in der Stadt.

− Wir hatten uns anhand der Beschreibung und der Fotos etwas mehr von der Unterkunft versprochen. Als wir ankamen, standen zwar alle Informationen in einem Büchlein bereit, inklusive Infos über Tours in der Umgebung etc., allerdings waren die Preise und Informationen teilweise bereits veraltet. Wir hatten das Frühstück inklusive, mussten dann aber feststellen, dass man Coupons erhält, die man in naheliegenden Cafés einlösen kann, wobei man dort entweder eine beschränkte Auswahl hat oder ein Taxi oder Ähnliches nehmen muss, um überhaupt hinzukommen. Die Taxifahrten kosten pro Person und pro Fahrt mindestens 3 USD. Das hat sich für uns nicht gelohnt, weshalb wir das Frühstück zurückerstatten liessen. Die Unterkunft ist zwar von viel Grün umgeben und es gibt Fliegengitter an den Fenstern, allerdings kann es trotzdem vorkommen, dass sich die ein oder andere Kakerlake in die Unterkunft verirrt, wie bei uns. Alles in allem eignet sich die Unterkunft gut für ein paar Tage, länger ist sie aus unserer Sicht aber nicht wirklich komfortabel.

Mooie kamer, precies zoals op de foto. Ze verzorgde een babybedje (door omstandigheden waren ze dit vergeten maar Cassandra regelde het meteen). Koffie en thee op de kamer is beschikbaar. Koelkast aanwezig. Airco aanwezig. Mooi balkon met hangmat en twee stoelen. Veel dieren te zien! In de ochtend hoorde en zagen we brulapen. Er zijn drie restaurants in de buurt. Taxi’s rijden er veel en makkelijk aan te houden. Tegenover nog optie om e-bikes te huren. Makkelijk contact met Cassandra.

− Wij wisten van te voren dat het buiten het centrum ligt en vonden dit geen probleem. We hebben een keer naar het centrum gelopen dit was circa 1 uur lopen.

Thank you Cassandra & Family for the great stay at your property. It's truly a hidden gem in the jungle, however just 2 minutes from the sea and a quick drive to Bocas Town. Playa Estrella and Playa Bluff easily reachable. The breakfast options in the surroundings are great as well. Eve and Cassandra really care about the well-being of their guests.

Było wspaniale, ogród jest przepiękny

Na śniadania chodziliśmy do kilku różnych miejsc do których dostaliśmy vouchery od właścicieli. Bardzo polecamy Ghana Bocas nie tylko na śniadania, a drugie miejsce na śniadanie to Tesoro Escondido kapitalny kucharz i przemiła obsługa, jedzenie przepyszne :)
