Nothing. There was nothing to like. This establishment should be on page 1 of a manual on 'How Not to do Tourism and Business'. It was so bad that this story will keep many entertained at future dinner parties when failed holiday and travel stories are discussed.

− Nothing to like. It was ghastly. The location: it's far away from everything, and is in a grotty area. We could not find the place, the owner (see below) could not provide a pin, so we drove around for ages, nearly got stuck on a road that should only be driven on with a 4 x 4 vehicle, and eventually a kindly security guard pointed us in the right direction. That was a red flag: why are security guards needed in the neighborhood? The staff: we had to hoot at the complex to get attended to. There was no staff at the (very secure, anti crime) gate. Eventually, a foot dragging, gum-chewing-with-open-mouth, scowling woman came to the gate, and proceeded to give us a telling off for being late, as if we were school children. We had been delayed: by heavy rain and traffic, and we could not call because the owner (see below) had given us the wrong telephone number (I have a screenshot of this). There was an elderly male staff member too, who should have been retired years ago, and not be made to work. Very sad. Our arrival was farcical. The woman did not introduce herself. She indicated by pointing her finger, where we should park. Then she disappeared into the building. We looked up and saw a lot of laundry on a balcony, and wondered what sort of neighbours we would have for the week. The elderly man indicated we follow him up the stairs (very, very slowly). At the apartment, we realized that the laundry was on our balcony! Enquiring about it, the scowling woman said it was theirs, and seemed to think it was normal to have paying guests welcomed with laundry. Note: as we were late, she had had time to remove it. We allowed her to show us around, and in all fairness, the apartment was clean, although the geyser had to be switched on and off so that it wouldn't boil over (her words). But with her attitude and the laundry, we were not going to stay. The property: it is run down, and needs maintenance. A simple coat of paint would be a good start.

Enjoyed my stay a lot, recommending to travelers who like to explore the island.

Conveniently located appartement with private gated parking. Simply furnished with everything one needs. Beds were comfortable and peaceful, safe neighborhood. Very friendly accommodating owners.

− A little chair or two would be nice on the small balcony.
