Basic cottage. Has potential to be very cute if some love was put into it.
1.0Cute looking cottage, good parking, nice dog walks on the doorstep. Booked as a stop over to go to a show at Newark. Owner left milk and bread and 3 individual cereal boxes, which would be nice but I was on my own and am lactose and gluten intolerant! My dog had cereal for supper though!! Back yard small but enclosed so I could leave the door open for fresh air and the dog was safe. Small but nicely fitted bathroom.
− Garden unkempt, needed weeding. Garden furniture had bird mess on it. Crockery and cutlery needed cleaning before I used it. I could not get the lounge TV to work. The sofa was very low and uncomfortable. Stains on furniture and carpet. Front porch had lots of junk mail on the floor. Bed was really uncomfortable. I could feel the bed slats through it and it had a thin sheet over a plastic sheet, so I got very sweaty. I only got about 2 hours sleep. Pillows hard, so i was pleased I had brought one of my own! I checked out the other bed, but this had a sprung mattress which was not great as I could feel each spring and it was not supportive. I had booked for two nights, but could not face another night like that so left after one!!

10.0Great location and a very nice little cottage . The host even left in the kitchen essentials I.e bread cereal milk and jam and butter . It was a great little touch

10.0It's a really lovely property in a great location. The house was very clean and comfortable, and we loved that the hosts provided fresh bread, milk, butter, and jam. This was a nice touch. We really didn't want to leave the peace and tranquillity that this property offers
